New year, new training courses from The Archive for Education

27 Jan 2022

This spring, The Archive for Education (link in Dutch) is running a new series of training courses and workshops. The training this year is all about getting more out of audiovisual lesson content – to help teachers create better learning outcomes by increasing engagement and adding more fun. From February, teachers (in training) can learn more about the educational platform in online demos, join teaching workshops, and attend live training days together with KlasCement.

What’s on offer?

  • Online training: teachers can follow online demos to learn about all the features that our educational platform has to offer. They will also find teaching tips, inspiration and ideas for lessons in the teaching workshops. Both the demos and the workshops are followed by an optional practice hour, so you can try out the exercises for yourself under supervision straight away.

  • Live training days: together with KlasCement, The Archive for Education is visiting every province to organise training days for teachers who want to use audiovisual content creatively in the classroom. They can become familiar with the two educational platforms – both crammed full of lesson inspiration – in just one day.

  • Workshops on request: if you’d like a workshop just for your colleagues or department, then personalised hands-on workshops are available both online and at your school.

The Archive for Education training courses are organised with support from the Flemish Department of Education and Training. They are free, but you need to register.
