'Depositing digital publications from Flanders’ by the Flemish Heritage Library

In 2014, there was no coordinated approach to the systematic archiving and preservation of digital publications in Flanders – and by extension in Belgium. These publications disappear almost as soon as they appear, resulting in a digital black hole in our collective memory. On behalf of the Flemish Minister of Culture, the department commissioned an exploratory study. Within this study, the feasibility of a depository framework for digital publications from Flanders was mapped out.
