Discover The Archive for Education’s training programme for this spring

14 Dec 2020

The Archive for Education, our image database full of audiovisual content for the classroom, is once again organising a whole series of training sessions in the spring. All workshops will be held online this year due to coronavirus restrictions. Teachers and other professionals working in education can learn about the platform’s features in 1- or 2-hour sessions, or receive supervision to start using the service straight away.

There are four types of training available, something for everyone:

  • Quick demonstrations in which the instructor shows you The Archive for Education’s basic features, or we can focus on e.g. filters and collections;

  • Interactive workshops for beginners who want skilled supervision to learn how to work with The Archive for Education;

  • Subject-specific hands-on workshops for teachers who want help to discover what’s on offer for their profession;

  • Webinars in which we show examples of how sound and images can be used in the classroom, with lesson inspiration from our educational offering. Teachers can become familiar with the wide range of collections provided by our educational partners.

The training sessions are free, but registration is required. You can combine multiple sessions, for example by first attending a workshop for beginners and then following a webinar with lesson inspiration.
